Grade Overview

Pre-K

We are excited about our seventh year of Pre-K at Holy Trinity Parish School for the 2016/2017 school year. Our Pre-K program is intended to serve as a transition between pre-school and elementary school. Children are taught with hands-on materials, songs, and games. The Pre-K class has a full time teacher, a full time assistant and a part time assistant daily helping each child prepare for Kindergarten.

There are two program options for Pre-K. Students can attend full day (7:55am-2:35pm) or half day (7:55am-11:30am). They are dropped off in a separate carpool line in the morning and are picked up in the regular carpool line in the afternoon. Extended School Care is available for Pre-K students.

Daily Curriculum

Students will be given daily instruction in the following subjects:

  • Calendar/Circle Time 
  • Language Arts 
  • Math 
  • Learning Centers 
  • Religion 
  • Play & Social Development 
The schedule will also include morning snack, lunch, rest time, and daily recess. The students will attend weekly mass after the Christmas break.

Minds in Motion

Students will have the daily experience of individual physical development through  movement in our Minds in Motion Maze. The students will go through daily tasks that will help to increase the development of visual and auditory skills.

Enrichment Classes

Students will spend 30 minutes per week in teacher directed instruction in the following enrichment classes: Art, Computer, Library, Music, P.E., and Spanish.

Seasonal Activities

At times there will be seasonal extra-curricular activities, such as Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, and Mr. Magic, to name a few.

Tuition Rates for Pre-K

Below are the Pre-K tuition rates for the 2016-2017 school year:
Full Day - $6500
Half Day - $5900

Admissions Procedures for Pre-K

Students will be accepted based on the following guidelines:

  • Active Holy Trinity Parishioners with children with siblings currently enrolled at Holy Trinity Parish School (K-8) 
  • Active Holy Trinity Parishioners with children not yet attending Holy Trinity Parish School 
  • Non-parishioners with children with siblings currently enrolled at Holy Trinity Parish School (K-8) 
  • Catholic Parishioners of other parishes
