Our faculty and staff are working hard to coordinate schedules and spaces, so that students are able to enjoy most of their lunches and snacks outside, as well as take classes outside!
5th grade has enjoyed prayer walks on our walking path and prayer reflections in our outdoor prayer garden during religion classes, as well as played Battleship in their social studies classes to practice longitude and latitude.
3rd grade has taken math classes outside to the walking path, as well as one of our classroom learning tents. They’ve also worked on their cursive outdoors with sidewalk chalk.
1st grade has enjoyed practicing spelling words and math facts outside with sidewalk chalk.
8th graders have enjoyed writing time, free reading, and vocabulary work outdoors in our church courtyard and prayer garden, as well as in outdoor classroom and field spaces.
Fr. Bill and Fr. Paul continue to meet our younger classes in PreK through 1st grade outside to read and discuss their weekly Bible stories, as well as pray together.
