This past week on our social media accounts, we recognized our student leaders who always share their time and talents outside the classroom to make HTPS what it is each day. We want to publicly thank and recognize our students who serve on our Safety Patrol during morning or afternoon carpool, lead as mass servers, sing in our school choir, produce our WHTS daily/weekly news broadcasts, and serve as our Student Council leaders. We appreciate all you do for HTPS, our students, teachers, and families - Thank you!
To begin, we want to give a big thank you and shout out to our Safety Patrol members, who with Ms. Pullem’s leadership, helped us safely enter and exit school every day!
Students, we appreciate all of your extra time and effort you shared through this leadership role this year. Thank you for making HTPS the best!
Ms. Pullem, thank you for greeting us each morning at carpool and making sure we had afternoon carpool student leaders, too. We’re going to miss you next year. We look forward to celebrating you at one last carpool dismissal during our drive-thru event on May 15!
Weekly on Wednesday, we gather for all-school masses. Even now during online learning, Fr. Bill and Fr. Goodin have continued offering Wednesday liturgies on the "Holy Trinity Parish Louisville" and "Holy Name - Santo Nombre - Louisville" Facebook pages. We want to recognize and thank all of our school choir members and altar servers who make our weekly masses possible, inspiring, and enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your talents with us at our weekly school liturgies, as well as our weekend masses and sacrament celebrations! We look forward to celebrating liturgies with you leading us again soon!
Next, we want to recognize our WHTS teams! Prior to our COVID19 closing, our 8th graders produced a daily news broadcast in our news studio. Since online learning, interested WHTS team members, along with Student Council leaders, have continued to produce a weekly WHTS broadcast. You can find our most recent broadcasts on the HTPS YouTube channel!
Finally, we want to thank our Student Council! They are the FACES of HTPS through their leadership in Faith, Academics, Compassion, Environment, and Service activities. With 72 members from the 6th - 8th grades this year, they organized and led numerous activities throughout the year, including all of our recycling efforts, Catholic Schools Week, Rice Bowl, Pet Blessing, Used Uniform Sales, Scare Out Hunger, church cleanings, Rosary Prayer Services, holiday book readings in classrooms, New Student Orientation, helping teachers set up classrooms, working Meet Your Teacher, and numerous other activities! Thank you, SC leaders!
