Physical education and safety are integral parts of the school's total education program. The goal of the P.E. program is the development of physically, mentally, and socially fit individuals. The development of the qualities of sportsmanship, cooperation, and loyalty are stressed. Safety awareness pertaining to home, school, and traffic situations will also be stressed. Both organized play and free play are recognized as valuable in the physical and social development of students.
Some of the special activities throughout the school year include: bowling and a special Halloween activity for students in Pre-kindergarten through second grade; learning to play soccer and basketball in third and fourth grade; learning tinikling dance routines and softball in fifth and sixth grade; performing gymnastics routines and participating in the FITT program in junior high; as well as Field Day each year in May. One of the big highlights each school year is the Eighth Grade versus Faculty Volleyball Game.
