Camp Piomingo Directions/Supply List

The sixth grade went camping October 17th, 18th, and 19th at Camp Piomingo for the twenty-first consecutive year. We had three beautiful days and two stormy nights. We shared quite an adventure with the storms on Thursday night. A very special thank you to those  parents who volunteered their time and effort to keep this tradition and great time alive. Those parents are Rachel Butler, Dee Dee Crotty, J.D. Grimes,  Eric Fry, Lance Griffin, Kirk Hilbrecht, Betsy Hallion, Sean Hyde, Beth Klem, Tony Martinette, Stephanie Montano, Helen Overfield,  Carla Schilling, and Dr. Peter Urda. Also thanks to Kim and John DeWeese who volunteered to keep us fed with Smores on Wednesday night and to Bill Otten who got us going with the Karaoke equipment on Thursday night. The sixth grade students enjoyed the challenging tasks of  High-Ropes, Zip Line, Team Building, Archery, Caving, Journaling, Karaoke and K.P.! Congratulations to the sixth grade for taking on all challenges and working hard as a class.
